Studio Etiquette Policy
To ensure a safe atmosphere, everyone must abide by the studio rules.
Sunshine Aerial Fitness is a safe, inclusive, supportive, non-competitive, non-judgmental environment. We welcome students of all shapes, sizes, ages, religions, genders and fitness levels.
We understand that students are excited and eager to help other students, but just a reminder that our instructors are certified to instruct and spot aerials. Students are not to instruct or spot other students.
We have a zero tolerance for rude, bullying, aggressive and/or violent behaviour, whether it be physical or verbal, and will result in immediate termination of any passes or memberships.
Please be on time for class! If you are more than 10 minutes late to class without prior permission, you will not be allowed in and will forfeit and lose your class.
No rings or hand jewelry.
No body lotions or oils.
No iTac grip to be used on aerial equipment.
No alcohol or non-prescription drugs allowed in studio.
Shoes must be removed at the door, no foot wear except for “indoor” shoes inside the studio.
Please clean crash mats, yoga mats and aerial apparatus with provided disinfectant after use.
Please do not touch or lean against mirrors.
Only positive words of encouragement allowed in our studio. Be kind to others and yourself. Everyone should feel welcome and comfortable.
Students must wear proper attire. Proper tight pole shorts or leggings must be worn. No thongs or nudity.
Please respect our cancellation policy. Not doing so will result in a “no show” and you will lose your class.
Students must register online or on our App to register for classes.
No chewing gum.
Return all mats, spray bottles and clothes to their designated spot.
If you are at a higher level and are dropping into a lower level class you must follow lower level material and instructor.
No friends, significant others, children will be allowed to watch your class. Please have respect for other members.

Cancellation / Refund / Late Payment Policy
Drop in classes (Non-Series)
You may cancel up to 3 hours before a class without penalty. For all cancellations and no shows, in addition to using the class pass, there is a $10 fee without a medical note.
Membership and Drop-In Pass Cancellations
Regular Memberships (pay monthly)
There is a 4 month commitment on memberships. After 4 months, you may cancel your membership any time with 30 days’ notice. In the case of injury, with doctor’s note, memberships can be put on hold for a maximum of 6 months. Non transferable.
Special Memberships (6 months and 12 months - pay all up front)
No refunds. In the case of injury, with doctor’s note, special memberships can be put on hold for a maximum of 6 months. Non transferable.
No refund on drop-in passes. Drop-in passes are transferable to a friend.
Gift Certificates are non-refundable. They are transferable to another person.
Workshops and Special Events
No refunds are available for workshops, but they can be transferred to another person, as long as the person meets the prerequisites to attend.
Parties are non-refundable. You may cancel your party up to 48 hours prior to the party start time. If you cancel before the 48 hours, your party may be rescheduled within 6 months.
Privates are non-refundable. You may cancel your private session up to 24 hours prior. For all cancellations within 24 hours and no shows, in addition to using the private pass, there is a $10 fee without a medical note.
Privates can be transferred to a friend.
Fees for series classes are due 1 week (7 days) prior to the first class. Failure to do so will result in you loosing your reserved spot in that series. All overdue invoices are subject to a 5% fee every 30 days.
Inclement Weather Policy
During the winter months, classes may be cancelled if anticipated daytime accumulation of snow is 10+cm or 5+mm of ice.
If we have to cancel any class due to weather, it will be announced at least 3 hours prior to class via our Private Facebook Group, as well as via email to all clients registered in the affected classes.
You will not be charged for the cancelled class and series classes will be made up at a later date.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Whenever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way (SSL). You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personal identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personal identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personal identifiable information on our site.

Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as postal code, age, etc…). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

- Have you tested positive for COVID 19 in the last 5 days?
- Do you have any COVID 19 symptoms?
You will require to wear a mask if:
- You have traveled outside of Canada in the last 14 days.
- You have been in contact within the last 5 days with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
